CONTEMPORARY COUNTRY ACCOMMODATION

Lavandula’s contemporary country house is tucked at the head of a secluded valley, looking down the Winter Creek.

Low lines, single storeyed, wide decks, big views.

It’s in farming country 10 minutes north of Daylesford. Wait till you see the sky.

Simple. Soothing. Cooling. Listen to the magpies, kookaburras.
Sleep, read, sun, swim. There’s an outside shower with a view of the stars.
Snug. Love the wood fire, lie on the floor and play scrabble. A glass of wine, a meal, soft music.

 

 

The house is self-contained:
a large contemporary lounge with postcard windows that direct your view
a modern timber and stainless steel kitchen
open fire, heating, air conditioning
3 Q bedrooms, luxurious beds, walk-in shower room for 2, spacious tub with a view

of course there's a tv if you must, and a DVD and music...

As there are deep dams near the house, it's not suitable accommodation for children.

WATER RESTRICTIONS

We collect our own rainwater for house use (and this is our 5th drought year) so please use the spa once only.

Keep the house as you found it – please no parties, smoking only on the deck

Sleep, recharge. Don’t drive – walk down the Winter Creek to Lavandula for lunch.
