Each hamper is packed with sourdough baguette; deli meats and cheeses; antipasti, olives, pickles and pickled onions and anchovies; crackers; eggplant dip, olive oil and balsamic vinegar; smoked almonds; scones with jam and cream; farm-made lavender honey and homemade chutney. Add-ons like wine or extra snacks can be included on request. Everything you need for a peaceful, delicious moment on the farm. Just bring your appetite and a picnic rug (or borrow one from us).

How do I order a picnic basket?

Pre-order online through our booking system or give us a ring. We require 48 hours’ notice.

What’s included in the hamper?

Each standard picnic basket is filled with plaughmans platter full of local cheeses, focaccia, crackers, seasonal sides and our signature lavender scone with jam and cream.

Do you provide picnic blankets or utensils?

Yes, your hamper comes with utensils and napkins however we only have a few picnic blankets available - We recommend bringing your own so that you can find a beautiful place to sit on the grass and enjoy your picnic.

Can I customise the picnic?

We offer vegetarian and gluten-free options—just add a note to your order when booking.

Where can I sit with my picnic?

You’re free to find a shady spot anywhere on the lawns or orchard area. We’ll provide a map with your basket.

For over 30 years, we’ve been sharing the beauty of our gardens, food, lavender paddocks, and old stone buildings with locals and visitors alike.

We acknowledge the Dja Dja Wurrung people, the Traditional Custodians of the land on which Lavandula stands. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and recognise the ongoing connection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to Country, culture, and community.
